The YWCA provides parent education to parents who are referred by the courts, DCFS or other referrals. The curriculum used is Nurturing Parenting and is facilitated by Alberta Davis, a certified Nurturing Parenting instructor. Sessions are being offered virtually at this time either as individual or small groups. The focus on the sessions are brain development, stages of development, positive discipline and specific skills for various age group. Call the Ywca for more information.
